Some say they are philosophers. Others call them deviants.
There are those who claim they might be super heroes and others who contest that they are certainly aliens and a few who point out that some super heroes are aliens.
As for AmarA & jk, they just smile alluringly and tip their hats.
In unison.
There is absolutely no doubt that they are strange folk.
They are cosmopolitan though they live in a very old livery barn in the back of beyond. They embrace and hail the digital age. The grow their own food. By most markers they are impoverished, but fruit and meat are on their table, silk and velvet on their bed, smiles on their souls, and always they find materials from which to make their creations.
In short, AmarA & jk are artists.
Some call her a painter and him a photographer. Some say she is his model and he is her muse. A handful call them theatre designers, a few call them writers, and two or three might label them musicians.
They just call themselves artists.
They explore themselves and their life and their universe.
As they see fit, they reject your reality and substitute their own.
They do not wish for a better world, they make a better world - by brush and by keyboard, with a smile or a word, by living it everyday and by sharing it with you.

Stuff about jkHe knows kung fu. He paints to find the pictures in his mind and if he could put it into words, he would not have to paint it. He finds the movement & stillness of the world through the camera's lens. He is a tao philosopher. He plays X-Box and reads prodigiously. You can find him lurking around the digital realm |
Stuff about AmarAI was born and raised in the Twilight Zone, near the confluence. Like most children, one week I dreamed of being an indian, the next week I dreamed of running away to join the circus. Unlike most adults, I never grew out of the tendency, never settled. I just got better at juggling, metaphorically and literally.
I call myself an artist. It best encompasses all the things I am. I am a painter and a set designer, I am an illustrator and an actor, I write and I model, I sew clothes and I grow my own food. I believe that we live, each of us, in a world not of sight and sound, but of mind. I listen to Dresden Dolls and David Bowie and James Taylor and Kate Vogel. I read Neil Gaiman and Ray Bradbury and Terry Goodkind and Anne of Green Gables. I sometimes play the ukulele or guitar, but not well. You can find me all over the digital realm.
